BLTT Community Connect is a bi-monthly (every other month) virtual meet-up where Brain Longevity Specalists® come together to network, share experiences, and dig into timely brain health trends that influence their lives, communities, and future careers. Each session offers space for real conversation, peer support, and practical insights you can take back into your programs, work, and everyday decision-making.

Topic: Designing Programs with the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention®
Date: Thursday, April 16 at 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET
Duration: 60 minutes

This series is exclusively for Brain Longevity Specialists.
The recording will be available, please register and you'll automatically receive it.

You’ve mastered the science of the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention – now it’s time to share that life-changing knowledge with your community.

Join us for this interactive, 60-minute workshop specifically for graduates ready to transition from students to community leaders. We aren’t just reviewing the Pillars; we are building the frameworks that allow you to present them effectively, whether in a community center, local yoga studio, online environment, or corporate setting. The first half of the workshop will be a short presentation, followed by 30 minutes of breakout rooms to discuss strategies. What has worked for you? What aspect of organizing a program has been your biggest hurdle?

Come prepared to share your ideas and experience, and connect with other amazing Brain Longevity Specialists!

Meet Your Presenters:

Mary Lou Green, BA, MA, CDP, BLS, has over 16 years of hands-on experience caring for her parents at home, including serving as care manager for her mother, who lived to age 100. Through this journey, caregiving became her passion. In 2022, she founded Dementia Bridge to support, educate, and coach family members caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Through Dementia Bridge, Mary Lou also leads an in-person community series, Boost Your Brain, offering monthly presentations on the Four Pillars of brain health. She shares practical, research-based lifestyle strategies that help individuals improve their health and maintain cognitive wellness as they age. Mary Lou resides in Palm Desert, California.

Paula Morris, MBA, RYT, BLS, is an accomplished educator and certified wellness professional dedicated to empowering individuals with evidence-based strategies for cognitive health. Leveraging a background in academia as a retired marketing professor and formal training as a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), Paula seamlessly blends education and wellness. Her commitment led her to become a certified Brain Longevity Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF). Paula now uses this expertise to design and lead workshops, translating groundbreaking ARPF research into practical tools that help others actively reduce their risk of cognitive decline and maintain lifelong brain vitality.

This session is free and open to all Brain Longevity Specialists with an active membership. Need to renew? Please contact Camille at [email protected]

Come learn from a fellow graduate who has successfully launched a 4-Pillar program. Understand their program goals and exactly how they integrated Diet, Stress Management, Exercise, and Spiritual Fitness into a cohesive format. Enter breakout rooms with a small group of peers to "live-edit" your ideas. You’ll address common challenges like cultural adaptation, time constraints, and audience engagement strategies.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this hour, you will be able to:

  1. Structure a 4-Pillar presentation tailored to your specific community or demographic.

  2. Identify potential obstacles in your local market (language, culture, or interest levels) and develop proactive solutions.
