About the Presenters: George Perry, PhD, is a world-renowned neuroscientist and the long-standing Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, a Dr. Perry is best known for his pioneering work on the role of oxidative stress in neurodegeneration. His research was the first to identify oxidative damage as a primary feature of Alzheimer’s disease, shifting the scientific conversation toward metabolic abnormalities and mitochondrial dysfunction. Beyond his laboratory work, Dr. Perry is a highly decorated member of the global scientific community. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Royal Society of Biology, and he holds prestigious foreign memberships in the national academies of Spain, Mexico, and Portugal. His interdisciplinary approach continues to influence how the medical community understands the complex relationship between redox-active metals, RNA oxidation, and the aging brain. Dharma Singh Khalsa, MD, is a world-renowned pioneer in the field of integrative medicine and the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. He A prolific researcher and author, Dr. Dharma has published more than 40 scientific papers in prestigious medical journals and written several international bestsellers. He is best known for his landmark research on "Medical Meditation," specifically the Kirtan Kriya technique, which has been shown in clinical trials to improve memory, reduce stress, and even affect gene expression.
