Kirti Khalsa, RYT, ARPF CEO

Kirti is originally from Rome, Italy, and is the Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and Secretary of the Board of the ARPF. Before moving to the USA, Kirti worked for a multinational pharmaceutical company in the export, marketing and Regulatory Affairs departments in their offices in Italy, USA, and Switzerland. She is involved in supporting her community by fighting illiteracy through her Rotary Club and supporting other non-profits. Kirti has been a yoga practitioner for over 40 years and a yoga teacher to seniors and people with disabilities for over 30 years.

Paula Morris, RYT-200, BLS

Paula Morris is an accomplished educator and certified wellness professional dedicated to empowering individuals with evidence-based strategies for cognitive health. Leveraging a background in academia as a retired marketing professor and formal training as a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), Paula seamlessly blends education and wellness. Her commitment led her to become a certified Brain Longevity Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF). Paula now utilizes this expertise to design and lead workshops, translating groundbreaking ARPF research into practical tools that help others actively reduce their risk of cognitive decline and maintain lifelong brain vitality.

Miriam Soto, PHR, MBA, RYT, BLS


Miriam Soto is a KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a practitioner for over 10 years. She is a part of the Aquarian Teacher's Training Academy. Miriam has also completed studies in Sound Healing, Ayurveda and Gong Academy. She has spoken at wellness conferences about the benefits of practicing Kundalini Yoga and on various meditation modalities. Miraim is a certified Yoga Sculpt teacher and currently teaches at various yoga studios. Miriam loves to create a welcoming space where students of all levels can explore the transformative practice of breathwork, mantra, meditation, and movement. She is passionate to be a lighthouse for others- serve one, serve all! "Wisdom is my essence and compassion is my substance" is one of her personal affirmations. On a personal note, Miriam was a caregiver for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer's for over 7 years.

Barbara Lowes, E-RYT 500, YACEP, Reiki Master, BLS

Barb was inspired to study the practice of Brain Longevity after her father passed away from Alzheimer’s. She uses this passion to teach others the empowering yoga strategies found in ancient wisdom teachings. These studies are proven to relieve tension and anxiety, improve mood, boost focus and concentration – plus build a strong memory to keep the brain active, robust, and healthy.

Satwinder Sran, BSc, RYT, C-IAYT, BLS

Satwinder lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and works for Alberta Health Services. Satwinder is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and has been teaching for over 20 years.  She specializes in teaching the chronic pain patient population at the University of Alberta Hospital for the Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic.  She is certified in Children’s Yoga, “Radiant Child” Levels 1-3 and has also completed additional training through the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology to teach people with Cancer, Diabetes and Immune Dysfunctions. Satwinder completed Yoga Therapy training from the Mount Royal University and holds an International Certification in Yoga Therapy. She is also a certified Brain Longevity Specialist through the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation in Tucson, Arizona.
